Ms. Hijleh’s masterclass focuses on Vocal Acoustics: First Resonance Interactions and Why They Matter. The position of the first resonance in relation to the first 3 harmonics is an important aspect in the timbre of the voice and changes in these interactions are often felt by the singer and can be negotiated in different ways. Using Voce Vista and live demonstration, we will examine these interactions from different perspectives seeking to clarify the advantages and pitfalls of the acoustics of registration for the treble voice.
