Sam has also studied privately with Teri Stock, Dean Kaelin, John Henny, Mark Baxter, Steve Giles, and Richard Lissemore. As a teacher, Sam is passionate about helping singers feel like they are enough with the tools they currently have while exploring all the sounds they have the potential to make. He has taught for over ten years, including eighteen months at CSMA Studio in Hong Kong. Sam has experience teaching and singing pop, rock, R&B, classical, and musical theatre, and tries to help every student sing with ease and emotional connection. He has presented with NATS, The Mix Singers Association of Poland, and IVTOM.
In this masterclass, Sam works with four singers on musical theatre repertoire. There is a focus on self-acceptance, and things to watch out for to encourage or prevent a voice from turning over.
