Becky Gilhespie, (BBA, PGCE) is an experienced vocal coach, working with professional singers, songwriters and musicians.

Since 2005, Becky trained with worldwide experts in Contemporary Voice in the US and UK, taught at The Academy of Contemporary Music in the UK, and ran her own studio in central London. She has worked with record labels, touring bands and has helped actors win career changing roles.

Becky is an associate of leading voice educator John Henny, an accredited member of International Voice Teachers of Mix, and a qualified Vocal Health First Aider. She also works closely with award-winning online group The Sing Space, providing regular webinars and vocal training.

Becky’s book, Singing for the Self-Conscious, is a practical step programme that combines awareness and study of mindset with the best practices in contemporary vocal training to help singers overcome their mental hurdles.  The book’s aim is to improve singers’ confidence, self-worth, and innate creativity, so that they sing and perform with authenticity and ease. Her absolute passion is this powerful combination of technique and mindset work in vocal training.
